Known as "the singing journalist" (so named by Gospel legend Kurt Carr), Weber is actually an accomplished pop-jazz singer-- he does over 50 gigs a year. He has sung with Kiki Sheard, Ashley Cleveland, Anointed, George Huff, Kurt Carr, Kenny Loggins, among others.
Weber is the author of several books, many on the subject of Christian/Gospel music. And he's the publicist for Kingdom Bound Christian music festival, as well as for several recording artists, churches, ministries, and others. "I have found that secular media people are very open to my sharing with them about Christian/Gospel music and event news," says Weber. "I dare say that I've found more opportunities to get the word out about Christian/Gospel music/events in the mainstream/secular world than the Christian! But that's simply because I think big in my approach and maintain a very diverse, wide group of connections. I have over 4,000 people in my email address book, and have worked hard to network over the past few years to the point where many people know me or know of me and what I'm up to. I've been told that people love my enthusiasm, that it's contagious. When I am excited about something, a lot of people will hear about it and that excitement rubs off on them."
