Christian Country recording artist Gordon Mote’s new release, Don’t Let Me Miss The Glory (Spring Hill Music Group, RSI Music Group), debuted at #10 on the Christian music Soundscan chart and also landed in the BILLBOARD Top 200 sales chart for its initial week on the shelves.

Adding to the excitement is the overwhelming early response at Gospel radio to Gordon’s single “Mercy Walked In.” Selected as one of the December 2007 Singing News Top 10 new releases and the number one pick hit by stations nationwide, the single is poised for a high radio debut and successful chart climb.

Nominated for Musician of the Year at the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards, Gordon’s music and personality have become an integral part of the “Nashville sound” of recording. In addition to his daily schedules that usually find him accompanying some of country and Gospel music’s most prestigious artists, Gordon performs worldwide in conjunction with the Gaither Homecoming Tour phenomenon in addition to his individual dates. The new release is being promoted aggressively at Gospel and country radio, with national retail positioning and through television in several million homes via numerous networks. 

Gordon is scheduled to appear on the CMA Awards broadcast where he will perform alongside longtime friend and award-winning artist Alison Krauss. Krauss made a special appearance on Gordon’s new release.
