VeggieTales: Christian Hit Music Print E-mail

Veggie TalesAttention all Christian music fans young and old alike who know and love Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber--they've got a new CD out called VeggieTales: Christian Hit Music.

It features Bob, Larry and their Veggie friends, along with special guests Amy Grant, Steven Curtis Chapman, Audio Adrenaline and newsboys, singing 15 of today’s most-loved Christian hits. With chart-topping tracks like dc Talk’s “In The Light,” MercyMe’s “I Can Only Imagine” and Relient K’s “Sadie Hawkins Dance,” this brand new collection of critically acclaimed songs is sure to raise the roof for kids of all ages.

Covering pop, rock, adult contemporary and other genres, Veggie-crooners Bob the Tomato, Larry the Cucumber, Junior Asparagus, Pa Grape, Mr. Lunt and an all-Veggie choir are joined by four of Christian music’s most legendary artists performing some of their biggest hits. Amy Grant sings "Baby, Baby," Steven Curtis Chapman jumps in with "Dive," Audio Adrenaline makes some noise with "Big House," and newsboys rock out on "Shine."

"It’s an honor to present some of Christian music’s most-loved and influential songs to young families everywhere," says Terry Pefanis, COO, Big Idea. "Working with Amy, Steven, Audio Adrenaline and newsboys made the project extra special."
