Verity Record's multi-award-nominated female artist Joann Rosario has a CD out called 'Joyous Salvation,' a stunning collection of songs of hope and healing, which the Associated Press calls "a cool drink of water at high noon during a heat wave." If you liked her song "More, More, More" from a few years ago, and you like Spirit-filled music with a Spanish-language flava, Joann is your girl. ![]() Joann Rosario, hosted the Gospel Music Channel’s red carpet interviews at the '08 Stellar Awards in Nashville. The 1-hour episode captures the uniquely multi-faceted nature of Rosario's music and ministry, focusing on a recent performance in New York's legendary Harlem neighborhood. Rosario also shared her music with radio listeners across the country "live" on the popular Yolanda Adams Morning Show. The high-energy morning radio program is syndicated by Radio One and airs in several U.S. markets weekdays from 6am-10am EST. Those appearances followed several months of high-profile events for Rosario, including performances at CeCe Winans' Always Sisters girls conference and Bishop Eddie Long's Re/Present 2007 youth conference as well as a hosting stint on the Chicago entry of the Gospel Music Channel's "Hometown Gospel" series. "The writing process on 'Joyous Salvation' was very special for me," she says. "I know I didn't write these songs! They were written by the precious Holy Spirit and I heard them during times of prayer and seeking the Lord." 'Joyous Salvation' is the first project for Rosario since her 2005 release, 'Now More Than Ever/Worship,' which peaked at #4 on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums chart, picking up where her Verity Records debut and mega-hit "More, More, More" left off.
