AnadaraSinger/songwriter and Kingdom Bound Christian music festival favorite Anadara follows-up her critically acclaimed debut album Into The Unknown with A Little Closer, available for purchase on Anadara.com, iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, and Amazon.com, just to name a few. You know how it is these days: everything's online, including Anadara's album. Does anyone even buy CDs anymore? :) Anyway, if you're looking for music to listen to at work, why not download an Anadara tune? She has a pleasant voice, coupled with pleasant melodies-- what's not to like?

Produced by Scott Faircloff (Lifehouse) and Zod Lounge (Leann Rimes, Bebo Norman, Matthew West) Anadara weaves her unique artistry throughout her songs, drawing inspiration from true creative freedom, personal relationships and her relationship with God.

“During my times of writing I have constant conversations with God, much like praying,” shares Anadara. “A song usually takes over a whole season of my life and stays with me even through the night. In this way, this record is written out of worship. Even as the songs don’t necessarily lend themselves to corporate worship, I pray that people will find this record to be healing and inspiring in this journey we are on.”

Born and raised in Carlsbad, California, Anadara ventured across the country to attend Syracuse University in New York, where her love of songwriting was rekindled. Finding creative fulfillment in the freedom of writing what she was experiencing in both Syracuse and later in New York City, Anadara played the local music scenes and ended up living in New York City for three years after graduating college. It was during this time that she witnessed firsthand the tragedy of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. Soon after she met and married her husband and they started a new life in Nashville, TN. Anadara was signed to Spring Hill Worship in 2005 and released her debut album Into the Unknown. The album drew critical acclaim and her song “The Name” (written with Joe Beck and Billy Sprague) was nominated by Worship Leader Magazine for “Best Scripture Song” in 2005. Spring Hill Worship closed their doors in 2007 and Anadara is now an independent artist.
