Talent Competition: Enter today! Print E-mail
If you're a Christian recording artist trying to get noticed, you should enter the Kingdom Bound Talent Competition. Hurry, the deadline to enter is MAY 15TH!

Kingdom Bound Ministries' Kingdom Bound festival reaches over 55,000 people from all over the Northeastern US and Southern Ontario with four days of concerts, seminars, sports and children's activities, and more at Darien Lake Theme Park Resort. For more than 15 years, the festival has featured a talent competition in various forms. This year the competition will once again take place on-line and give the overall winner the opportunity to play at Kingdom Bound 2008.

For the 2008 Kingdom Bound Talent Competiton, artists who submit will be entered into a voting application where fans can go and vote their favorites to the top. Of those artists, the 5 with the most votes will move on to the final round. A panel of CCM industry experts will judge all of the finalists and select a Grand Prize winner who will receive a performance slot at Kingdom Bound 2008, taking place August 3-6, 2008 at Darien Lake Theme Park Resort, in between Buffalo and Rochester, NY. Additionally, a second and third place artist will receive free passes to the event.

Kingdom Bound's International Talent Search is sponsored this year by Essential Records, the label bringing you great Christian music from artists like Third Day, Matt Maher, Grey Holiday, and Leeland.

Essential Records is providing this year's grand prize. The overall winner from the KB competition will not only play at Kingdom Bound, but will also have the opportunity to play at a showcase in Nashville sponsored by Essential this Fall! The winner of the Fall showcase will receive an artist development contract with Essential Records.

Are you an aspiring independent Christian music artist? Consider entering the Kingdom Bound International Talent Search. You'll be joining several pop/rock/soul/worship artists from all over, including NY, OH, PA, DE, FL, NC, WA and Canada. It costs $50 to do so, and the deadline to enter is May 15th, so time's running out-- click here to get to the page to enter. Note: you do not need any promo code, so you can ignore that part. After you select the option for either new member signup ("combo package") or existing member, you just need to click the "Submit my EPK" button again to submit.

"This is a way for an independent Christian artist to affordably get some exposure, to get noticed by a lot of people," says Mark Weber. "For instance, I listened online to the current entries and discovered a band from Philly named Unspoken. I liked their song "Never Again" so much that I've emailed them and plan to feature them on my site, www.ChristianMusicDaily.com."

Kingdom Bound's International Talent Search is just one aspect of Kingdom Bound, the Christian music festival. To learn more about KB, click here today.
