V3: girl groups are back |

News

The soulful Stellar Award-nominated group V3 (sisters LaToya, Shelley, and Sacha Vinson) understand that music is about the people and giving them the power of choice. That’s why the trio are handing the power to pick songs for their upcoming album--a power which is normally held by the record label--over to their fans. This week the Atlanta socialites launched the Pick Your V3 Remix campaign on mypace.com/V3music, which allows fans to cast a vote for the song they want featured on the CD. Three new tracks will be polled on myspace every Friday, but only the top 5 songs will make the cut. The promotion ends May 9th. |

Interviews
Picture this: a cold, snowy winter day in Buffalo, New York. I'm literally snowed in, as there's more than two feet of snow in front of my doors, and I'm going a little bit stir crazy with cabin fever. I happen upon Derrick "Doc" Pearson's "Lord You Are My Everything" CD, and it's so refreshing, honest, anointed, and listenable, that I decide he should be interviewed for this site. |

NewWorldSon: ChristianMusicDaily's favorite band, ever |
Interviews
NewWorldSon can do it all, musically. From jazz to beat-boxing, and reggae to country, this band is unlike most bands out there today. Hailing from Niagara Falls, Ontario, where they got their start performing Gospel songs in front of a martini bar crowd on a weekly basis, NewWorldSon is the kind of band that manages to connect the Christian message with people who normally wouldn't set foot inside a church. |
