Derrick "Doc" Pearson: Lord You Are My Everything Print E-mail
Picture this: a cold, snowy winter day in Buffalo, New York. I'm literally snowed in, as there's more than two feet of snow in front of my doors, and I'm going a little bit stir crazy with cabin fever. Running ChristianMusicDaily.com, I get hundreds of CDs each year, and they are stacked in piles all over the house. So I decide to spend the snowy day going through my CDs and seeing which ones I love, and which ones I want to get rid of. I happen upon Derrick "Doc" Pearson's "Lord You Are My Everything" CD, and it's so refreshing, honest, anointed, and listenable, that I decide he should be interviewed for this site.

Nicole C. Mullen knows her Redeemer lives Print E-mail

Nicole C. MullenAfter the huge success of the Dove Award winning Song of the Year, “Redeemer,” singer-songwriter Nicole C. She wants to hear what they have to say. She loves to dance and teach kids how to dance. And she loves Jesus, and wants to share that love with others.

Vicki Yohe sings better than Celine Dion Print E-mail

Vicki Yohe decided to record the song “He’s Been Faithful” after adopting her first child in March 2005. When she and her husband, Troy Hodges, were trying to decide what to name her recent CD, they agreed that “He’s Been Faithful” would be the perfect title.

“After being married for 9 years—no children—praying desperately that God would give us a baby,” she says, “my friend Darlene Bishop, from Ohio, who works with teen mothers, called me and said she’d have a baby for us in one week.”

Kurt Carr lifts his hands in the sanctuary Print E-mail

Kurt Carr, who has become one of the mainstays of modern gospel music, right up there with Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin and Yolanda Adams, is on a mission.

Carr’s main musical aim is to bring people together of different colors and backgrounds. That’s always been in his plan, but now, more than ever, he is committed to the cause, going so far as to name his recent CD, “One Church,” and listen to contemporary Christian music vocal group Avalon in order to influence his own music so it reaches outside of the often insular black community.
