Virginia-based rockers DecembeRadio burst onto the national scene with their self-titled Slanted Records’ debut in 2006. The band was honored with a GMA Dove Award for Rock Album of the Year, earned three additional Dove nominations (including Best New Artist and Song of the Year) and scored a GRAMMY® Award nomination for Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album.
Their winning streak continued at radio where “Love Found Me” and “Dangerous” heated up rock radio airwaves while “Drifter” and “Find You Waiting” became Top Five hits in the CHR format with “Find You Waiting” hitting the Top 10 at AC. DecembeRadio was named Breakout Band of the Year at the Rock Radio Summit and were the only Christian act touted among Billboard Magazine’s 2006 “Artists to Watch.” Christianity Today named them among their Best Band of the Year and Best New Artist picks. The band's songs even turned up on network television, including the CBS drama series "Cane" and Discovery Channel’s popular series "Hazard Pay," for which “Dangerous” became the theme song. |

Tammy Trent News |
Tammy Trent is one of the only Christian artists to ever personally email ChristianMusicDaily.com's Mark Weber with a "thank you" note regarding a published article, back in 2000. So, ChristianMusicDaily.com is especially pleased to share with you that the pop/R&B recording artist, author and speaker returns July 29 with Stronger, her fifth studio album to date. Produced by Dove Award-winner Bernie Herms, as well as Doug Bieden, Stephen Marshall and Brian Steckler, the album features 11 selections, five of which were written or co-penned by Trent.
Signifying a new chapter both personally and musically, Stronger is a celebration of Trent’s hope and trust in Christ and an acknowledgment of His sovereignty through seasons of sorrow and joy. With a diversity of fresh pop anthems and reflective ballads, highlights of Stronger include “You’ve Already Shown Me,” “Edge of the Water,” “God of Impossibles,” and the one you're hearing on Christian radio, "Rain On Me." |

Moore, Lucinda |
Lucinda Moore is not a household name--yet--but she is definitely someone ChristianMusicDaily.com's Mark Weber likes. "Having interviewed her for ThePraiseHouse.com," says Weber, "I found her to be the kind of Gospel singer there needs to be more of: hard-working, coming from Connecticut where it's not as easy to be a Gospel singer as it is in Detroit or Atlanta, and then there's that 'Pressure Into Praise' song of hers-- her signature song that stuck in my head for, well, years now."
Tyscot Records’ Lucinda Moore will record her new CD and DVD Friday, July 18th – 7:00 PM EST at Elizabeth Baptist Church – 4245 Cascade Road, Atlanta, GA. Craig L. Oliver is the Pastor. Doors will open at 5:30 PM. The recording is free and open to the public. A special guest performance by Minister Wil Coleman, Greensboro, NC will take place just before Lucinda takes the stage. The recording will be released on Tyscot Records in Spring 2009. This live recording follows Lucinda’s previous self-titled 2006 LUCINDA MOORE CD yielding the hit "Pressure Into Praise." |

Collins, Curt |
Curt Collins, one of the most authentic and sincere Christian artists ChristianMusicDaily.com's Mark Weber has ever met, is ready to release the third CD of his career, Another Day. The project was produced by Curb recording artist Jamie Slocum, and will be distributed by Infinity Music Distribution. Collins, who is known for his powerful, thoughtful lyrics, co-wrote two of the songs on Another Day, “Never Givin’ Up On Me,” and “Hiding Place.” Collins enjoys the songwriting process and his passion in life is touching people through his music ministry.
“One reason that my music connects with people is that everybody’s seems to be going through the same things in life that I’m going through,” says Collins. “If somebody’s driving down the road, and they hear my song on Christian radio and it touches them, then my job is done and God will do the rest in his own time.” |
