Wes If I were to ask you to name the Australian act that has its entire CD catalogue in the best selling lists of America’s largest Christian retail chain, I wonder who you would pick.



Newsboys? Rebecca St James? Darlene Zschech? Hillsong Church? Or someone else?



Sons Of Korah - a group that creates unique renditions of the Psalms – has secured four Top10 listings on Family Christian Stores ® best sellers list for the week ending May 10.



The albums are:



#2 – Resurrection



#4 – Shelter



#6 – Light Of Life, and



#7 – Redemption Songs.



According to Stuart Duncan, President and CEO of Wordsong Artists (the group’s Australian record label) each of the _title_s makes regular appearances in the store’s best seller lists.



“But this is the first time all four CDs have been listed simultaneously,” Duncan says.



Sons Of Korah’s lead singer and founder Matthew Jacoby says that it is “exciting and encouraging” to see the way Americans have responded to the group’s ministry.



Family Christian Stores - America's leading specialty retailer with more than 300 locations in 37 states, has been promoting Sons Of Korah’s music and DVD for almost two years.



Duncan says that scoring four albums in the chain’s best seller list is a “remarkable achievement” considering the group’s infrequent US visits.



“We watch with anticipation to see what God will continue to do through the distinctive ministry,” he says.



The name Sons of Korah comes from a group of Old Testament Levitical musicians who wrote 13 of the Psalms.



Only Casting Crown’s best selling CD The Altar And The Door pipped Sons Of Korah to the top chart position.



Wordsong Artists services retail stores around the world, and has a US distribution facility.
